What if you go off track? What if, even while you're genuinely willing to change your life — doing the steps, doing your best — there comes a stretch where you can only manage the necessary? The appointments in the calendar. Family. The exercise you already committed to. Whatever that looks like for you. And there's no space left for expansion.

I'll admit it — I felt that these past few weeks. The busyness, the energy that only stretched far enough to cover what was necessary. And for a while, I started beating myself up for the things still sitting on my list. The things I wanted to have accomplished by now.

Then I came back to my own values. To doing one step at a time. To honoring the small steps — even the ones that are already part of my routine, the ones that don't feel like progress anymore because they've become so normal I stop counting them.

So here's what I want to encourage you to do, because it's exactly what I did for myself: go back through the month in your mind. Notice what the summer's reset had already shifted. Notice the good things you managed to do, even the quiet ones. Notice the moments you showed up as the best version of yourself, however small that moment was. Notice every time you did your breathwork. And notice this too — you made the time to read this newsletter this week, which, if I'm honest with you, I very nearly didn't make the time to write.

This week's practice

Sit with your list from week two again, without judging it or adding to it. Go item by item and ask: does this feel even slightly more possible than it did four weeks ago? You're not looking for proof — just a felt sense, in the body, of something having moved. Then take five slow breaths, and on each exhale, say quietly: "Thank you for this shift, small as it is." Let this week be about gratefulness — about what's already been achieved — more than about achieving something new.

See you next week,
